A
sk not what Rambunctious Social Club can do for you
but rather what you can do for the Rambunctious Social Club?

So what is the Rambunctious Social Club? To be entirely honest we're not sure yet
and part of that is going to depend on you. We were contemplating why we never went out any
more and speculating that maybe the old booze and dance music formula was getting a little tired.
We want to create an environment slightly more interactive...more playful where YOU! are encouraged to contribute. There will still be great music and the opportunity to freak out if you so desire...
But as well as being a nightclub we hope that the venue will also be part theatre, part exhibition space, part playground!

So. Ever fancied yourself as a performance poet? Are you a budding photographer? Have you a strange talent that you've never dared share with anyone. The Rambunctious Social Club is for you.

Presenting your Rambunctious Hosts -
Please contact Griff or Lee if you want more info or want to be a part of the Rambunctious social club.
Alternatively if you want us to come along and play near you as part of an event or even a private gig then please get in touch!

Glyn

DJ GRIFF
Griff has become the musical half of the Rambunctious crew by virtue of knowing astonishingly little about the other arts. As long-standing resident at the even longer standing clubnight Jelly Jazz, Griff developed an insatiable appetite for standing up in clubs and playing all of his favourite music at people, but thankfully they rarely seem to mind. He currently has residencies at the Eden Project Arts Cafe nights, Firefly Bar and still plays at the occasional Jelly Jazz event. Further afield he has played in Canada, the US and Puerto Rico...oh and Padstow! Griff also DJs for the Jelly Jazz radio show which can be found on listen again at any convenient time through the wonder of the giant web thingy at www.jellyjazz.com

This week he has mostly been playing rhythm and blues, swing, jazz, ska, calypso, funk, soul, gospel, salsa, cumbia, rhumba, afrobeat, with the occasional excursion into gypsybeats.

Lee LEE HODGES
Lee's boundless curiosity has led him down all sorts of paths and now he finds himself as the visual half of the Rambunctious crew! A visual artist hailing from deepest darkest Kernow, he spends a lot of time in the guise of Micasamovi, creating inventive film pieces for theatre companies, visuals for music and arts events, plus the odd short film here and there. Lee's films have been played as far wide as Arizona and india. Currently Lee is supplying the visual feasts at the Eden arts cafe nights
, recent shows have been at the Dartington midsummer ball and Jelly Jazz's 16th Birthday bash.

Currently you may find Lee dreaming up more creative antics, throwing stones with his feet, spooning down copious amounts of honey and taking his imagination on frequently long walks.

Jo devises collaborative creative activities for Rambunctious, and rabble rouses to create dark deliciousness and anarchic flurries of fancy
